-Captain Albert Iovino came to the Indian River Shores Public Safety Department in 2014, after serving a distinguished 25 years as a veteran law enforcement officer. In his law enforcement career, Captain Iovino served as a supervisor for over 8 years and became a certified Drug Recognition Expert in the State of Florida. He obtained two educational degrees, one in Nursing and one in Criminal Justice, graduated from the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association’s trilogy program, and successfully completed the Command Officers Development Course at Southern Police Institute (79th).
